About | Cassie Doyon has worked as an artist and art educator for over 30 years, where her artwork and sculpture has won several awards and has been nationally exhibited.
Tribute to Bonnard was inspired by the works of Pierre Bonnard. Doyon was especially enamored with the Fauvist color palette often seen in Bonnard's paintings. She wanted to capture the rich light and hues of the Provencal coast in this piece, and explore the painterly and Impressionistic aspects of stained glass and andamento.
