Painting, to me, is a distinct pursuit that channels the insistence of constant change in the world, and in our personal lives. I use paint as though it were a construction material. This physicality in my work is thick and full of passionate intensity. On purpose, it is not the kind of work you can realistically experience on the computer screen. It is alive and physical, in your face, and in your room.
